How to tell the difference between an Alaskan Malamute and a Siberian Husky

At the dog park; people all assume that all snow dogs are huskies! When an Reality they are not! It is better to ask what it is instead of saying oh look at the husky! Some Mal owners don't appreciate it! Here is a list of things  you can tell the difference. It is really hard to do! (I do not own some of this info!!)
 1. Mals DO NOT HAVE blue eyes! They will get disqualified from AKC dog shows because this means they are not pure bred they are mixed with a husky!
2. The Alaskan Malamute is a heavy boned, powerful dog. The males weigh between 85 and 100 lbs and the females between 75 and 90 lbs. The Siberian Husky is a medium sized, smaller boned dog. The males weigh between 50-70 lbs. And the females between 35-50 lbs
